Hi All

We had an employee hurt his back whilst at work (having to bend down to gain access to a restricted area, lower back pain resulted after returning to their upright position). They have said that they have had a 'bad back' for a long while. My concern is that if they have a pre-existing condition we need to make sure that their duties do not aggrevate it further.
The resulting accident investigation has looked at the activity and the route in question cannot be eliminated. Therefore the definition of madness being 'doing the same thing and expecting a different result' we need to ensure that the individual in question is fit to continue or not.
We are a small company and do not currently retain the services of an Occ Health Provider.
Can anyone recommend a provider that could support us in working out a practical solution to this problem.

Thanks In Advance

Rich,

We use the services of an Occ Health company in Harlow anywhere close?
I'm sure they will take on an individual case for you.
