Can anyone please signpost me to a reliable HAV calculator/ready reckoner.
The HSE Excel one linked to INDG 175 appears to be unreliable at present.

I have been using the spreadsheet and haven't noticed any issues but would be really grateful if you could let me know (PM if you like) of the problems that you are experiencing. Other sites tend to link to the HSE website for the calculator, although a quick google found a few others, but I am guessing that they may have taken the formula from HSE
The points system ready reckoner seems reasonably useful, especially in an operational situation.
Could you use the points system and then the nomogram to find the A(8) value? I know it's not entirely accurate as the scale gets squeezed.

Wht not use the ready reckoner in L140? Alternatively use the good old nomogram that was in the previous guidance.
