microgrammes per decilitre. I think. a millionth of a gramme in one tenth of a litre of air.

A microgram is one-millionth of a gram; and a deciliter (which is 1/10 of a litre) is a measure of fluid (blood in this case).

Sorry should have wrote decilitre (not deciliter).
