I have had the 'Trolley Stops' removed / designed out from the new spec on our tail lifts. Little pop up flaps towards the rear edge (Hopefully we are on the same issue).

They are designed for trolleys / cages rolling off, but when you are undertaking pallet drops they are more of a hindrance as do not give enough room to move the pallet and can be accidentally operated creating a trip hazard.

Also we heavier pallets it is move likely to tip the pallet off the end rather than stop it in the event of a 'runaway'

We have had experience of all of the above, hence the designing out, with other controls I would like to add.

Hope this helps
