I have 27 yrs work based knowledge split between construction and catering,I hold Nebosh general and Nebosh fire safety and risk management,I also hold advanced hygiene at level 4. I have recently enrolled on the NTU pro diploma in health & safety and still cant find regular employment. Here is the million dollar question, what am I doing wrong? All responses treated with the greatest respect. I live in the north of England and have transport.

Hi Latchy.

I'm having the same problem as you.

I'm looking for help to steer me in the right direction to get my career back in the right direction.

There are a lot of kind people out there who offer some great advice, but no job or mentoring leads.

Hi RPoulter
Re: ...............'but no job or mentoring leads'. Thats because there are very few at the moment. Just pick up a copy of SHP two years ago to one now and have a look at the 'Jobs Section'. I'm afraid the 'bubble has burst' and for some considerable time methinks.

Hi Victor; there are a few jobs out there, I have been for interviews with two organisations in recent times; withdrew from the one and have an offer on the table from the other. Methinks I know of a job that may well be vacant in a month or so's time!?
