Hi
After trailing through the ADR Regs I am still none the wiser as to how the ADR Regs apply to us in relation to carrying at the most 1 x 46kg of refrigerant at any one time (Class 2)...I know that we must display the appropriate signage on the rear of our vans, but does anyone know if the carriage of the TREMCARD would apply to us or if this is for carrying 12 x 46kg ?

Hi
Tremcards were replaced with "instructions in writing" (5.4.3 of ADR 2011) and would only be a legal requirement if the total of the goods put the vehicle into scope. For the product you mention this is 1,000 litres/kg or 333, depending on the transport category. The drivers will need training as they are carrying DG's- though not Vocational Driver Training (ADR licence).
There are provisions for the loading of the loading, unloading and handling of these receptacles. CV9 CV19 & CV36 (7.5.11 of ADR).
I would suggest that you contact a DGSA close to you who may be able to offer training and more detailed guidance.
Regards
Andy
