I am struggling to write a ‘Statement of Experience’ for my application for the APS CDM-C register. Any help will be appreciated.

Shaikh

Use the following headings

Name
Role
Company
Qualifications
Training
Background
Responsibilities

Complete each one focusing on the last 4.

Shaikh - I have also contemplated diversifying into CDM-C. Please refer to my thread entitled "Advice sought re career path etc" - it's probably somewhere on page 2 or 3 now.

I found the experience section fairly straigthforward - i.e. name of organisation, my role and period of time spent (i.e. dates). With experience and qualifications I soon accumulated about 24 credit poiints, a minimum of 18 is required. This was not sufficient to meet APS requirements. They want a minimum of 2 points in the "construction" section of the application and I could only justify one. I found APS to be rather inflexible and outdated in some of their views, e.g. refusal to recognise OSHCR status.

I hope this is useful and wish you luck.
