Many moons ago I saw a video on buried and overhead services, it was mostly standard but for one bit that really hit home. It was a youngish man talking about an accident on site, as he started talking the camera framed his head and shoulders, as he continued speaking it pulled out to show more of him, he was a scaffolder and whilst carrying a scaffold pole across site he hit an overhead line with it - he says the next thing he remembers is waking up in hospital and being told that he was a multiple traumatic amputee, at this point the camera has pulled out and you now see this man in a wheelchair his arms end just above the wrists and his legs just below the knees. There is no blood or gore but I found the way it is was filmed to be very effective. If anyone knows who produced this I would love to know so I can buy a copy to use in training courses.
