About four years ago I completed the IOSH MS course and was told that it had recently been reviewed and that it was no longer a lifed course - previously you'd had to attend refresher training to keep your qualification. I now work in an area were we look to have a number of our managers trained to IOSH MS level but I'm being told that the course now requires refresher training. Can anyone confirm for me if: (a) anyone taking the course now will require refresher training? (b) whether anyone who took the course during the 'un-lifed' period now requires refresher training? And if they don't, the dates that this 'un-lifed' period covered? Many thanks

Yup It's valid for three years and then requires a one day refresher - outside this 3 year period the full course has to retaken. Not sure if this has always been the case....
