I am doing some research on manual handling activities/MSD's in the highways industry sector. I would like to know if anyone would be willing to send me their details to discuss any intervention strategies that have resulted in a reduction of injuries from manual handling. I would respect the wishes of any contributors if they either want the information to remain confidential or acknowledge the source.

The HSE did some work on this some years ago, particularly in relation to the handling of kerb stones and similar. Not sure if that might not be worth a search or look on the HSE website.
