Can anyone advise on some good cut 5 gloves with a good grip?

My company manufactures sheet metal ductwork and over the last 12 months we have had a few too many cut injuries. We have tried various types of cut 5 gloves in the past but the workforce have complained of lack of grip or loss of dexterity. I have found a glove that they seem to like, but it loses its Nitrile coating after only 1 week of use. These gloves are £5.99 a pair!

Please help

I presume that the nitrile coating is there to assist with grip, as this type of coating provides very little chemical protection. Unfortunately there is an inevitable inverse relationship between the level of dexterity and the protection provided.

However, if you contact me off the forum I may be able to point you towards certain manufacturers who might be able to help.

TJA,

We have had a similar problem over the years with dry lining and Steel Framing Systems.

I have found a company in Birmingham who is reasonably priced and will deliver next day. If you PM me with your email etc, I can give you his details.

Regards

Clive

Have you considered fixed and mobile vacuum and other types of lifting and moving equipment - reducing manual handling and PPE issues together?
