Hi folks,

I am drawing up a vehicle inspection regime at my work, and i was designing the inspection daily check forms for the forklift and vans.

My boss saw this and said there is a booklet you can buy, a bit like accident books) where the forklift checks can be recorded in a standard form, i assume from the hse?

I have hunted and hunted but cannot find anything.

has anyone used such a thing? i am happy enough making up my own forms, but if the boss is happy to spend pennies on these books, i will happily go ahead.

cheers folks

Hi Richard.

Have a look at these.
http://www.sgworld.com/product_12.htm

The system gives a visual as to the status of the plant as well.

Other systems may be available.

Hope this helps

I don't believe that there is but there is some information in HSG6 that will help you create one for fork lifts and the Freight Transport Association can probabaly help with some standard checklists, but a Google will revela a numer of examples of both I expect

Hope that helps

Richard we recently purchased an FLT and I based checklist on operators manual as it gave a listing of checks and frequencies of checks. It made a good starting point.

i used google for the vehicle checklist, i found a good one and played about with it for my purposes.

However it was just because my boss said he had seen such a thing, i thought i would investigate.

thanks though

Hi Richard I've sent you a PM with details about our Good to Go Safety range which might prove of interest.

There are several stationery / safety supplies companies who provide this type of thing - but there isn't a standard official one.
