Hello I am looking for a recommendation for an online legal register, that is updated say quarterly by the company providing the service? Easy to use is the order of the day - or do I mean user friendly!!! Thank you Blod

legal register??? for safety?? Do your own one. I've listed all current applicable legislation by year, and get all the changes for legislation.gov.uk

If it is for your workplace I would recommend you develop your own as you should be aware which legislation applies to your workplace. If you subscribe to the IOSH / HSE site or other that keeps updating legislation then you won't be in the dark to upcoming changes and can update as required.

We have a register maintained by Cardinal Environmental that covers H&S and Environmental legislation. It is set up and "personalised" for us via a thorough discussion of what we do and how we do it and is updated as and when any legislation changes. We used to maintain such a register ourselves but at about a grand a year, this online service was thought well worth the cost.

I suggest that doing your own is the best as you know what your company undertakes and remember that changes are well publicised and so is easy to maintain Regards PaulR

Do your own its worth it, I'm currently doing it for our OHSAS18001 and will finish it eventually but once you have done it , its easy to maintain.
