Hi All

I have had a query regarding an eyebolt installation which has been tested, and failed, by a company different to the original installers.

It is an M12 stud resin fixed to a concrete structure, with a d-ring bolted on. It has passed the pull test, but has been questioned for this reason; "it does not comply with EN795, as the manufacturer of the studding is different to that of the d-ring"

My understanding is that this is fine so long as the material used is the same, i.e stainless steel. I think there are questions of modification to the regulations?

What do you think? And does anybody have any kind of paperwork that would support my thoughts?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Best regards

Matt
