Just been having a browse at some jobs in Singapore, seems like there is work out there.

However I dont think they recognise IOSH or also our safety qualifications.

Can anyone confirm this ?

Have you asked the chairman of the Singapore Branch?

There are at least 5 NEBOSH course providers in Singapore so I would take it as a tentative yes. But I have not been there "me sen" so you may need to talk to the NEBOSH people.

Thanks MB1.

Seems interesting, however not sure what the job market is like and what the chances are of getting a job ?

Would love the opportunity to work abroad however

Visa will be a rather big problem. Business visa is not required if staying fewer than 30 days

If you can overcome this then go for it. I have been fortunate enough to work in Singapore and Malaysia for a number of years following visits (sea service).

Make sure your salary is more than sufficient to cover the high cost of living in Singapore.

Superb place to marry, live and work!
