Hi All,
Hope someone can help me with this one. Does anyone know where I can find out the numbers of NHS Trusts that have banned the use of toasters?
Or has your Trust banned them?
Any help would be gratefully received.

Wasn't the matter of toasters used in hospitals and problems with smoke detectors being set off the subject of a topic thread which reaped numerous replies on this forum within the past few months?
My ability at doing searches on this forum is poor, so perhaps a more capable forum user could help. I know this doesn't answer the questions posed above, but some of the information in the thread might be of use when considering the implications of banning toasters.

In the "Search" field on the top line, insert "toasters" in the "Posts" selection.

Yes, I believe it was a post originated by me. I was looking for info regarding examples where such action had been undertaken. This was required as a non NHS customer wanted to do the same and it was thought examples of where other employers had done the same may placate the workers, who were bound to be opposed to the idea. From the post & a Google search, I have a few examples (not at home though), but it does not constitute a full list.
