It was often observed that illumination level inside confined space Poor. please share any guidelines for illumination requirements( LUx) inside confined spaces.

Safetycool,
there is no minimum or recommended level for lighting in "Confined Space" work. It all depends on what activity is being undertaken. For detailed guidance see HSG 38 - Lighting at Work.

Agree with above, use sufficient lighting for task, also you may need to have backup lighting if this fails (a torch may be enough in some cicumstances).

Of the top of my head I don't think there's a space in the reference number.
