How about...on the first day of Christmas my HaSA sent to me.....a regularly inspected stepladder to observe the partridge in a pear tree?

If we had snow on our screen, someone would say it was a risk. Then we'd have to use de-icer and someone else would say we'd need to do a COSHH assessment based on the MSDS. But then someone else would come along a remind us that MSDS's really are quite useless. So we'd switch to scraping the snow off. But someone else would point out the manual handling risk or even the risk of a hand injury. Scrapers are nasty thing don't you know. Then I'd come along and tell everyone to get a life and then I'd be told that I was unprofessional and didn't take health and safety seriously enough. .......do you think I've been on these forums too long???? lol :-) (Ps I'd settle for an edit facility instead of snow)

I had a line of twinkling Christmas lights across the top of my screen - I'm sure many of you have seen the programme, but according to our IT department it was unauthorised and a security risk so it had to go!

Yeah, I know what you mean. I was just trying to put a brave face on it. All this festive "fun" is real drag.

I've just looked at the animated card on the home screen. Where do I resign my membership?

Me too, I can celebrate Christmas all over again! It'll be the tradition Russian Christmas in January - a hang-over (in some cases literaly) from the change between Julian and Gregorian calendars!

I don't care what Julian & Gregory change in their calendar's! I'm not doing Xmas or Christmas or whatever else people want to call it. I will probably go to hell for it ;-) Andy

That's new - or I am just not hitting refresh enough? It was autumn leaves when I posted... p.s. Claire - I love your post, I am still chuckling. I was told on the NEBOSH group on Facebook that I had no right to be working in health and safety and I should leave it to people who know what they are doing. The question was 'can you send me IOSH dip past papers' my reply - 'they are free on the NEBOSH web site- and a link".... not sure how it all went so wrong :) Ok so it's Friday - but is it Christmas yet?
