Hi Guys, Just a quick one. An upper tier seveso 2 site shuts down (nothing running) for 8 days at xmas leaving only one person on site at all times. Do you see any problems here?? Regards, T

How are the emergency responsibilities (as defined in the emergency plan) covered? Anyone on call, anyone checking up? Who is the one person, a security guard or someone knowledgeable about the hazards on site?

Hi Kate, There is a set of rules which they must follow, production management do ring in a couple of times a day (but not night) The guys on are production supervisors so are quiet knowledgeable on the plant. We also have in the control room where they must not leave a panel which if pressed starts to call all key site personnel and the emergency services automatically. Thanks T
