Hi all,
Im looking for advice relating to high level climbing obstacle courses, I require an annual inspection to be carried out. My questions are:
1. Does EN 12572 apply to climbing obstacle courses or just climbing walls?
2. Is there a recognised certification organisation or group that can certify my climbing course following inspection
Cheers

Hi Paul
I am not claiming to have the answer to your question, but..... Who installed the course?
Who insures the course?
What is it used for? (adventure triaining, children, youths, adults?)
What is it made up of?

Hi Paul,
I occasionally get involved with zip-wires, tree-houses and walkways etc in trees and the European Ropes Course Association have 'inspectors' listed on their site - www.erca.cc .
I haven't used them in anger as I get involved more with the client advice (suitability of trees etc.) and planning application side of things.
