A simple question: Are all batteries are excluded from the RoHS directive and therefore no statement of compliance to the directive is required? Badger

Batteries have their own directive outside of ROHS; The Batteries and Accumulators (Placing on the Market) Regulations 2008 (the "Batteries Regulations. See this link: http://www.bis.gov.uk/nmo/enforcement

All I can say for sure is that they are covered by the Electricity at Work Act 1989. Rob
