I have been asked if there is a need for veterinary assistants to be vaccinated against Tetanus. I would suggest yes due to the possibility of Tetanus from animal bites. If a practice were to have this as part of their risk control, I am assuming that they should pay for any such vaccinations and any member of staff who refuses the vaccination would be required to sign a disclaimer?
Your thoughts/advice is appreciated.
