Hi , would anyone have any idea what a semi-skilled operator in the light engineering field should be earning? Thanks for any help, Carrickman

Whatever the employer can get away with ;-) IMHO I don't think you'll get a definitive answer to that question as lots of variables; location, local employment rates, type of industry, what they actually do, or can do etc etc.

Surely that is a problem for the employee to workout with HR or Management. I am not sure why you feel it is a H&S one. Mike

As per other posts, this is not a specific h&s question. Variables to consider. I would make a stab at £15-18k p.a.
