Two years ago I was due to start a NVQ 4/5 funded by the company I then worked for, because of the financial recession this was postponed and eventually cancelled because of redundancy.
Since then I have worked on a short 8 mnth contract and now find myself seeking work and feel my chances of attaining work will be greatly enhanced with a NVQ 5 (self funded).

Catch 22!
This is an assessed qualification so I need to be in employment.

Can any company out ther offer me 2 or more days a week unpaid emloyment so as to enable me to commence this qualification which i believe is attainable over 12 months.

I come from a construction background but my skills are transferable and anywhere within 30 miles of Merseyside (Due to expense) would suffice. CV available for any serious offers. PM me.
Kind Regards
Paul

Ever considered contacting your local air/army/sea cadets etc and offering your services as civilian staff. I did for a while and you dont have to be there that often. I put in about one evening every two weeks.

Paul - are you aware that previously gathered evidence is acceptable?? - but you need clearance from your assessor to be able to use it.

Also speak to your assessor about opportunities to prove yourself - this must have happened to some of their candidates before and they cant just wash their hands on you - surely??

Hi

There isn't a time limit on the hours work you need, so don't be fobbed off on that! Yes you can use past evidence and any voluntary work you do. If your old evidence is still hanging around the 2 year period you still may be able to use that, but it will be a sooner than later thing.

If you dont mind I will PM you.

Regards

Linda
