I was informed yesterday of an office free standing partition board, which has a double plug socket fitted to it & i've never come across one before. Obviously it could be tipped & take all the electrial items with it etc. Is it legal in the first place - would you consider it along the lines of a well presented extension cable?

I am going across to look at it next week, but i think it is along the lines of a plugged in or possibly wired in extension.

Sounds like an accident waiting to happen. Could make for some amusing safety rules 'though; "At the end of the day, don't forget to unplug the wall"

Why not ask someone at the other end to send you a picture?

Ron, because the camera needs charging and the only available socket is on the chimney pot!
