Hi all,

I have currently started a role in Abu Dhabi, where there is nothing in place. The Company want to gain Abu Dhabi Environmental, Health and Safety Management System (EHSMS) registration, my main concern is the establishments that the Company is responsible for has no fire safety policy, plans and training etc. in place.

I have searched the internet high and low, contacted the Civil Defence (fire authority) who sent me their regulations in Arabic which was a scanned document which I cannot translate. On my reply to them asking if they had them in English it was unsuccessful.

I have also looked on the Abu Dhabi EHS Centre website who are the regulator of the new EHSMS and they do not mention fire safety and have no references for this. I am now considering adopting best practice, international standards but if anyone can point me in the direction of the abu Dhabi Fire Regulations in English I would appreciate the help.
