While typing responses to topics today I've noticed that the scrollable box with the original posting and /or latest responses below the response entry box hasn't been present. Moreover on several occasions, I've hit the send button only to be faced with a page telling me that I'm denied access to the members only forum. As this has happened while using my work computer and later my home computer, I'm left wondering if there is some sort of glitch affecting the discussion forum at present. In addition, mention of this possibility may save other forum users from compiling and trying to send responses only to find they have vanished.

It's possible there is a problem Graham, the software does have its moments. I certainly had some problems with it yesterday. I will let the webteam know. Mod 2

Mod 2 Thank you. My OP and your response appear below as I type this message. This suggests that yesterday's problem or at least part of it might have gone or been resolved by now. in addition to asking for the apparent problem to be tackled, my message yesterday was to alert other forum users of its existence. I had just typed a direct reply comprising several paragraphs to one thread only to find it disappear when I hit the post (send) button. Therefore, one piece of advice for others compiling messages which are longish and/or contain complex information including webpage links, is to type them elsewhere and then copy and paste them into the message box. Admittedly I sometimes forget to do this myself! Graham
