Hope someone can help - employment law query. Are ALL employees, full time & part time, legally allowed 3 days compassionate leave from work, irrespective of whether the company is large or small. And if yes, does this have to be paid or unpaid? Thanks.

Victor - I think it depends on the situation requiring compassionate leave and the contract of employment - all guidance I am aware off doesn't differentiate between full & part-time. A good overview of this topic believe it or not is available on Direct Gov's website: http://www.direct.gov.uk...fandholidays/DG_10026555
