Can someone advise where/ whom they get colour coded tags for harnesses, lanyards, karibiners, etc. Thanks - Ray.

If it's just tags you're after Ray, you could do worse than look here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/...p;ref=pd_sl_22xyr9oi4i_b Rob

We got ours from the testers when they did the inspections.

SNS, I spoke to the tester today and he does not supply tags, which is not really very useful. Hence my request.

Strange way for him to business! Scaftag do a line of them, (no link etc etc) one of the local SW firms - Austin McLean - supply when they test and may be worth asking. Also I believe that the Allianz inspectors fix tags when they test. Rgds, S

The tester is from Allianz! However, he did imply they could be fitted but they may have to be sent away, which is not what we want.

If your equipment has all the stamps on it that is required adopt what we have been doing for many years, cable ties ! simple and cheap and can be easily seen. scaftags are great but expensive if you are in an industry where they can be easily pulled off. epideave

I had the same issue with them! I had to give the guy the tags and paint and suggest if he didn't put them on I'd find someone who would.... I was half expecting him to tell me - 'I can't put on a tag - health and safety init'.

WE use Richie tags on the bigger equipment and nice colour coordinated cable ties on the small stuff, shackles etc, Scafftag, Chris Nix, +44(0)7766918233 (m) will point you to local supplier

Previously I used a company (who done the testing also) callled Site Direct, they have the tags and can print your company logo on the tags also, which helps if you are on a large site with other subbies. (I do not work for them or have any part in the business - I used their services)
