Prescription Safety Glasses and Clip-on Tints

Good morning
Just a quick question. Has anyone come across clip-on tinted lenses that can be used in conjunction with prescription safety glasses?
Thanks in anticipation

Confused - why not just buy tinted prescription glasses
try http://www.bollesafety.c...daptor/rx%20adaptor.html for clip on lenses for non prescription specs
Sorry, I couldn't find the English version of the site but have used the clip on product before

Because work is carried out both inside and outside plus the changeable nature of the British weather our employees have asked if they can have clip-on tints as they don't want two pairs of glasses.

You do treat your staff well! :)
I'd contact Bolle or sperian and ask for advice and options, they do interchangeable lenses and reactalite lenses are also available... if you have budget!

Beware using reactolite lenses where there are sudden changes in light levels (e.g. FLT between external loading bay and the warehouse)!

I don't see any reason why clip-on tinted lenses should be a problem over prescription safety glesses, sounds quite sensible to me.

Neither do I but I haven't seen any in any of the websites I have visited. I know Specsavers can do them but they do not promote them in their brochures which doesn't fill me with confidence in their use.

If anyone can find a pair of clip-on tinted lenses that fit safety glasses please let me know! I have them for my ordinary specs but they simply won't fit on safety specs due to the nature of the frame.
