There's an official web site that tells you what national law enacts EC directives - http://eur-lex.europa.eu/en/index.htm . It that purports to provide access to European law. In my experience, finding anything on it is hellish unless you know the directive number. I find that the easiest route (for directives) is to find out the directive number somehow (ie google) and use the search by number at http://eur-lex.europa.eu...CH_naturel.do?ihmlang=en . So, the TMCSD is directive 92/57/EEC, so on that web page you want to put in 1992 in the top box and 57 in the bottom box and if you want to know the legislation that enacts it click the 'National execution measures' option. Easy. But only when you know your directive numbers. The other gotcha is that their database makes horrible web references, but normally there's a 'permanent link' link somewhere on the page that makes it slightly more palatable for purposes of citing in emails, for example. Highlights are: Council Directive 89/391/EEC of 12 June 1989 on the introduction of measures to encourage improvements in the safety and health of workers at work: http://eur-lex.europa.eu...CELEX:31989L0391:EN:HTML First individual directive within 89/391/EEC, being 89/654/EEC on the minimum safety and health requirements for the workplace http://eur-lex.europa.eu...CELEX:31989L0654:EN:HTML List of national execution measures that implement the first directive http://eur-lex.europa.eu...=CELEX:71989L0654:EN:NOT Eighth individual directive within 89/391/EEC, being directive 92/57/EEC on the implementation of minimum safety and health requirements at temporary or mobile construction sites http://eur-lex.europa.eu...CELEX:31992L0057:EN:HTML List of national execution measures that implement the eighth directive http://eur-lex.europa.eu...=CELEX:71992L0057:EN:NOT Sweden has 35 acts enabling the directive we enable with CDM.

Sorry, the other web site I meant to mention: http://www.lexadin.nl/wlg/legis/nofr/legis.php This has links to legislation all over the place. Quite a lot of the links are broken (particularly for Sweden, it seems), but it's often a good starting-place to find law elsewhere in the world.
