As a Principle Contractor do you have to ensure your Contractors have reported injuries to HSE or do you have to report it directly, I am thinking it is obviously the Employers responsibility, however under CDM regs (in this case) employing Contractors to do work for you????

The employer of the person has the duty to report. As PC you need to satisfy yourself this has happened. For your companies benefit you also need to check the information is factually correct within the report.
