Hello,
I have been tasked with carrying out a Risk Assessment on a personnel carrying lift. I have access to the service agreement and the information supplied by the company insurers.

I have the basic details of how much weight the lift will carry, the sensor on the door is fully operational although this in only at foot level, if the closing door comes into contact with the body or limbs they do bounce back, the force applied is not enough to cause a crush injury.

The staff using it fully understand that it is not to be used in the event of a fire.

The lift its self only goes up from ground level to first floor, and is that slow most employees use the stairs because it is quicker. As far as I know, I have only ever seen the service engineer in the lift anyway??

I would be great full for any advice to help me carry out this risk assessment successfully.

Thanks in advance.

Not something I would task anyone to do, as the hazards and controls are pretty self-evident.
Failure, breakdown or entrapment are all covered by servicing and LOLER arrangements, entrapment via local arrangements (alarm, phone etc) +presumably you have a response arrangement with the engineers in the unlikely event persons become trapped (with an agreed call-out period). Other aspects should be covered by FRA, drills, routine workplace inspection and the like.
The only common "unknown" in premises is whether or not you have asbestos containing materials in your lift shaft.
