Apparently having trouble sourcing these amongst our NHS approved suppliers. Anyone come across this problem? Anyone recommend a source? Cheers as always

When you say NHS approved suppliers, do you mean those suppliers that have been selected through a procurement process, if so I'd ask the contract manager to check what was specified but most of the big suppliers in my experience can get half sizes, even if they're considered a special.

I noted recently that stockists are not holding half sizes nowerdays I went to a large nationwide PPE supplier recently and they did not have half sizes on the premises and did not want to bother with ordering half sizes and one person there even called them 'specialist' shoes and wanted to charge more! I did not get the shoe size I wanted so I went to a small local high street supplier who was only too willing to ordered a pair at no extra cost ------ they too did not have half sizes in stock but its understandable for a shop of that size

Thanks for both these replies. Max, yes, those ones. Bob, did you give them the safety spec and they then tracked down a half-size?

the shoe needed was exactly the same one that they already stocked but in a half size so no additional spec was needed NB: On questioning it also appears that manufacturers are starting to stop producing all low sellers so if half sizes dont sell as well as full sizes we may lose a supply except for 'specials' which will cost more
