Hospital Boy

Morning All As i have just passed the I.F.E.Fire Technician Part 2, i can now apply for Technician status of the I.F.E. (My current employer has agreed to pay for this, and hopefully i will be awarded TIFireE status) But I have to submit a technical paper for between 250 - 500 words. As i have never written one before, can anyone point me in the right direction, with layout etc? Any help much appreciated

By way of clarification, the 250 to 500 word submission relates to a description of intended technical paper topic and not the actual submission.
