We have recieved a flyer from a well known engineering supply company referrring to the new(ish) standard for first aid kits BS-8599-1 and stating that they MUST be used from Jan 1 2012. This has already been discussed on the forum see http://forum.iosh.co.uk/...spx?g=posts&t=103513 My question is would this be something trading standards would take an interest in?

As previously mentioned; the ASA could be contacted if you feel that it is appropriate. Over the years I have received many such misleading flyers/emails etc; personally I just bin them. "Caveat emptor"
