Have we said well done to those who successfully avoided disaster in the North Sea helicopter? Pilots and crew, passengers, rescue co-ordinators, safety teams and policy makers etc.
Just a reminder of the important development in safety offshore survival skills training - so thanks to all who deliver and successfully complete it, and to those who were involved.
Sadly not always a happy ending but this time at least the training and preparations paid off.

I agree. It must take some bottle and skill to land a chopper in the sea?
Well dome to all, they must have been well trained and drilled so pat on the back to everyone onvolved.
(We are so quick to find fault when it goes wrong).

I also agree, well done to everyone involved and thank god no one was hurt. We sometimes moan about having to renew our offshore survival training, but this highlights why it is so important. Let's hope find out what caused the chopper to go down and put measures in place to stop it from happening again.
