I have recently completed my Level 5 NVQ in OH&S after a NEBOSH certificate and was hoping that someone could advise of what courses I should consider next?
I was thinking of an Environmental course and/or a Fire qualification, but am unsure of what course to do.

Any guidance would be gratefully received.

Hi Kerr,

It depends on what industry you want to work in and what you want to acheive. Environmental courses are always handy to have, or OHSAS/ISO auditing courses. You could always look at practical courses like confined space entry work at height if you feel you need to learn more about a particular area.

Hello Seabee,

I work in the Manufacturing industry and have completed ISO 9001, 14001 & OHSAS 18001 internal auditor level training. After these I was now hoping to broaden my base with a fire or Environmental qualification. From other posting it seems that IEMA courses are the favoured but I can’t see any specific courses.

Any suggestion? Or as your posting suggests go for specific courses (confined spaces, noise etc)?
