A relative is just opening a cafe and of course I have been stung with the fire R/A, H&S stuff as they are employing my two children who have just left school I don't mind as I can ensure that they are meeting the best practice and can at least cover my kids if nothing else. I have also said I will look at food hygiene training I do hold the level 4 so I am not a novice but I don't want to buy into the CIEH etc at present is anyone willing to share a presentation for level 1/2. I know it's a big ask so I won't be offended with No's.

You can find courses online in food hygiene for about £7.50 which covers a basic level. Have a search online if not I maybe to source a level 1 / 2 course for you. PM me if you have no joy

Have you thought of asking the food safety team at your local council?
