Hi Does anyone have a soldering R.A. I may have a peek at please. I've covered the obvious of LEV, coshh, skin complaints etc but I ask just in case I've missed something. Thanks in advance Badger

Hi Badger I do not have an RA for soldering but I have been in a company that used colophony based products (this is in some types of flux) so the hazards are the same. have a read of INDG249 "Controlling health risks from rosin (colophony) based solder fluxes" as this goes through the steps and issues for more detail go to (http://www.hse.gov.uk/research/hsl_pdf/2006/hsl0658.pdf) for the research paper. Colphony is also cited in EH40 so also look at that. Hope this helps M
