Morning, Does anyone know if foreign forklift certificates are recognised in the UK? Or would the individual need to have training recognised and accredited in the UK? Thanks

IMO I would be reluctant to accept it as there is no indication of what the 'foreign' course entailed and whether it met UK standards.

Is it in english?? Is the piece of plant brand new?? Also check with your insurance company to confirm.

In short, no. They should be retrained in the environment they are to work in; you will be able to see the effectiveness of any previous training.
