Hello, We have had a hydraulic pressure system installed to be used for testing hoses. The maximum required working pressure of the system is 26,000 psi. The supplier that installed the system has tested it to 30,000 psi. I am concerned that testing the system at approximately 1.154 x working pressure provides an insufficient safety margin. I'm sure that hydraulic pressure systems are typically tested at 1.25 to 1.5 x working pressure. Can anyone confirm this with reference to a national or international standard typically applied in the UK? Regards, Rich
