Dear all, I'm an H&S general practitioner-consultant, and I'm looking for a software package to help me audit clients' companies to OHSAS 18001 standard, and to produce gap analysis reports. There are plenty on the market, but many seem fragmented and unnecessarily complex. Can anyone recommend effective, user-friendly software please? Many thanks. CH.

BSI do an online OHSAS 18001 audit checklist. You subscribe and then input your audit findings and it calculates percentage compliance against the 16 elements. As with most of these things I personally find them a bit too prescriptive and the BSI auditors I know don't use it either.

The hand prepared report related to the company, as covered by the Lead Auditor course, is by far the best and I, like most auditors, have a word template report. Software rarely provide a decent report. Bob
