Hi Forum,
I am working for a new start business , based in the UK , our plan is to develop an OHSAS compliant HSMS and whilst familiar with the requirements of OHSAS 18001/2 to define and specify the framework required , for a Health and Safety Management System (HSMS) .
Unfortunately, what I do not have to assist the development of our HSMS , is a copy of an exisiting HSMS which has been developed to meet OHSAS requirements as a reference ,
I was wondering if any of the IOSH members have a version that they would be willing to share ?
Thanks in advance
David

I really think you are asking a bit much here and how people manage their own business may well not be the same as your own.
Of course you can pay somebody to do it for you

Understand your position , just looking for reference /support on the interpretation and level of detail required

U do not say what the business is but as a new start I would go for an in-house system as against a formal ISO type system - much easier/quicker and can be yours noting that having an ISO system does not always mean that you are 'reality' managing as many are desk top exercises only

Thanks for your advice , I may proceed down the path you suggest, although the ultimate business goal is to achieve 18001 certification , hence my original plan to start with this framework.
The business is Engineering : Design and Installation.

I think you're 'barking up the wrong tree' so to speak, you need to start with a scope, there are so many elements of OHSAS18001, I would start with HSG65 compliant HSMS to begin with and several years down the line consider attaining accreditation to 18001.
