Rank: Forum user		Hi Guys, Does anyone know where I can find "up-to-date" statistics on WORKPLACE fires and deaths. I have scanned the internet and it's either very out of date or related to domestic fires. I am delivering a course tomorrow and the stats I have are from 2004. Please help!!!! Lee

Rank: Super forum user		Excluding sheds and outside buildings that's 19400 non dwelling fires. Vehicles are not included in this figure. 32500 vehicle fires resulting in 44 deaths.

Rank: Super forum user		Road vehicle fires totalled 32,500 in 2010-11, of which 17,900 (55%) were in cars, 3,100 (10%) were in vans and 1,400 (4%) were in lorries. The total number of fires recorded in road vehicles decreased by 16% compared with 2009-10. The 2010-11 total represented the lowest in the decade.
