We have just had to chastise a young guy (for the second time) as he dos not like doing up his shoes laces-it’s the fashion apparently.
So why do we bother?

I assume he is 'At work' so he needs to be told things he may not like. That's why you bother.

Bring back chastisement I say... and the ducking stool... and the stocks... and the branding irons... and transportation.

Was it yourself that had to take action? I would question his peers as well and any supervisors!
