Rank: Super forum user		Never risk assess yourself! I did. I had the toe nail remove last Thursday and... I thought that if I removed my safety shoe (my toe was hurting in the shoe) and didn't stray from my desk all would be well and no one would notice. Wrong! A college stood next to my desk and we were chatting away. I moved my foot just as he turned to walk away. I can tell you right now that having fourteen stone pressed onto ones big toe having had the nail is not a good plan after having the nail removed a few days earlier. There, so much for Fridays and yes yes...I know...

Rank: Super forum user		I have to admit I took a picture of the thing the morning after...And sent it by text to a friend of mine at work, at breakfast time, knowing full welll he would open the message without thinking...Put him right off his egg sandwich for some reason! True! Rob (sorry Andy) I should have put an RA on that.

Rank: Super forum user		I managed to rip my big toe nail off in the garden against a large rock. They heard me swear 5 miles away. The nail took months to grow back. It had just developed a nice pink sheen when I dropped a full can of baked beans on it. It went black and fell off again!

Rank: Super forum user		This is nothing wait until next week when your colleagues ask if you recorded it in the accident book and you say no. They then ask about why you were not wearing your PPE. They must have heard your reaction, so by Monday (if not before) you will not be able to pull anyone up about anything. You just as well take the next month off.
