RA 2

Hazard: The hose of the upright vacuum cleaner flying off.

Risk: Hitting Zimmy's nail-less and really painful big toe that looks not unlike Gareth Brooks the country singer. (Open sandal as cannot put shoe/boot on)

Low to near impossible?

Nope....it did, and it hurt.

Review the RA

As it's Friday, i think YOU should ELIMINATE the need for YOU to do it and get Mrs Zimmy to do it.
Once she's finished the dishes, obviously. :-)

Sounds like you didn’t do your pre use checks properly or you are using defective equipment. Have you considered “Risk Transfer” - Get someone else to do it.

Ah the old catch all hazardous = PPE, more like zimmy forgot the engineering hierarchy with the first on the list ....... elimination and in this case elimnate the need for hovering by replacing the carpet with wood type flooring and have a less hazardous piece of equipment callled ............ a broom! Its' lightrer to handle and providing its in good condition no likelihood of bits falling off.

Have a good weekend everyone but don't forget to think of me working Monday :O{

Zimmy, the ever smiling, electrical god-like figure with the singing voice of an angel being grumpy? Dear Clair how could you even suggest it! Shame on you. Go and sit in the naughty corner.

On the other hand, you may be right :-)
But , as you well know young lady, with me being a man, it hurts more than it would if a woman had the same problem.

:-)
