Not sure what I pressed but all I get is an ever increasing black screen. Don't think the glimpse of what I did see will win many prizes.

Isn’t it just the same as the only site only a bit “louder”

No its not you.
Just too much going on.
It crashed my slow PC all over the weekend when I urgently needed to look at an INDG
My guess is now HSE have stopped doing anything useful they are replacing it with lots of hot air.
But we know where they picked up that - the procrastinators in westminster.
Fur coat and no knickers !!

It does take a bit of getting used to. Just try and see if you can download a specific publication (HSG), only took me 20 mins to find it...

I gave up using the search function on the HSE website many moons ago. Far more effective search engines out there which direct me to the exact page I need on the HSE site :)

I just went into it and found a really interesting page on myth busters and then wasted 15 minutes reading them and signing up for the bulletin ;)
The website was OK and quite quick I searched for HSG and then tried downloading HSG129 - 138 pages worth and it was done in no time flat. Perhaps it was just teething problems?

Due to the functionality available in latest software, if we do not upgrade our PC's and software, we will be affected, especially in the speed of acces & downloads. That is not to say that all must keep on having the most recent but it plays a role

I've limited knowledge of these things, but I did wonder if the graphic- and animation-rich front page was part of the problem. We don't all have superfast broadband and my employer's access speed is not great at peak times. I seem to recall the BBC website had a low-graphic version at one time (not sure if they still do) as browsers were frustrated by the time it took the clock graphic to load!
The new front page seems more obsessed with equalities and accessibility issues than it does about providing H&S info.
I don't find navigation particularly great, but that might be because it's new.
It's a brave new world I guess, and no doubt this will all look absolutely fantastic on a 4G phone.............whatever they are!

Cannot yet view the website. It begins to load then stops. Fast broadband and PC: cache cleared. All other web sites working well.

Of my lovingly crafted list of Firefox bookmarks to the HSE site, only two no longer work so it could be worse.
