Does anyone know of an Occupation Health Specialist who could advise my team of welders on the benefits of having the PPV23 vaccination. This a single event vaccination that protects persons at risk from pneumonia based respiratory illnesses.

Rich, Studies have shown the mortality rate for pneumonia is higher in welders exposed to welding fume. That is welders who are currently welding, it drops off following retirement/cessation of job. Word of caution with the vaccine, you may be placing some of your welders at greater risk of ill health by giving them the jab. You need to take proper medical advice.
